The Bottom Hole Bumper Spring sits at the bottom of the well hole and absorbs the impact of the plunger when it hits bottom to prevent damage to the seating nipple and tubing. It minimizes down hole restrictions which often yields increased production. A Bottom Hole Bumper Spring is dropped from the surface or installed by wireline. If needed, a ball and seat can be added to retain liquid in the tubing.
The PCS Bottom Hole Bumper Spring has evolved over more than 20 years of field application and testing. Because of its importance in protecting the well and extending the life of the plunger lift system, the PCS Bottom Hole Bumper Spring is designed for maximum durability and is engineered to actually minimize down hole restrictions and sand cutting. The results: increased production and profits
